Niels Petersen knew from the moment his first show opened in January 1993 what he wanted his livelihood to be. Within five years he made his dream a reality, plunging into painting full-time. Niels has cultivated a unique vision and style of his own and his work has received a strong and growing response over the years. He works in oils, exploring the play of light, shadow, shape and colour found in his favourite local, coastal, and interior B.C. landscapes.
